Field Measure Technician
Responsible for collecting necessary geometry and measurements from jobsite visits for the fabrication and installation of countertops other surfacing items. This typically includes the use of digital templating devices, lasers, and levels in order to create buildable drawings.

Are you detail-oriented, mechanically skilled, and comfortable working in the field? We're looking for a Field Measure Technician to help ensure the accuracy and quality of our countertop and other surfacing projects. Job Responsibilities:
- Accurate Measurements: Use digital templating devices, lasers, and levels to collect precise measurements and create buildable drawings for countertop and other surfacing projects.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers and team members to resolve design, layout, and site challenges.
- Site Documentation: Take photos and document site conditions to ensure smooth project execution.
- Job Site Visits: Arrive on time for scheduled appointments and maintain professionalism with clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: High school diploma, general education degree (GED), 1–3 months of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Skills:
- Attention to detail and strong measuring skills.
- Basic understanding of carpentry, geometry, and architectural design.
- Comfort with digital tools and templating equipment (CAD experience is a plus).
- Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks, including standing, kneeling, and climbing.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Preferred but not required:
- Experience in countertop fabrication/installation or carpentry is highly preferred.
Physical & Work Environment:
- Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Work Environment: Mix of indoor (temperature-controlled) and outdoor environments. Frequent travel required between job sites using a company-provided vehicle.

- Work Schedule: Hours vary slightly by day. Most days you start and end your day at home. Monday through Friday of each week, with overtime as required.

- This is a non-exempt hourly position. Wage negotiable, DOE.
