Stone Shop Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
Machine Operators are responsible for operating machines used in the fabrication of quartz and natural stone countertops (Bridge saw, CNC saw, Waterjet, CNC Router).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate machines used in the production of countertops such as Bridge saws, CNC saws, CNC routers, and Waterjets; load material onto and unload material off of countertop production machines using overhead cranes and manual team lifts. Set up, adjust, operate, load & unload machines in a safe and efficient manner; monitor and maintain machine to ensure it is operating properly; perform visual inspections of equipment with complex parts; inspect each item before and after machining to ensure quality and specifications; communicate and document material defects, quality issues, job completion, etc.; perform routine maintenance on your machine as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Must be dependable and team-oriented, fit company Core Values; must be able to demonstrate your ability to lift tops, accurately measure, read and interpret prints/shop drawings, use an angle grinder, saws, and other hand tools, etc.; heavy lifting (100+ lbs.), kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, standing for long periods of time, and other physical demands as required.
Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:00 pm - 12:30 am)
Ten (10) hour workdays Monday through Thursday of each week. Overtime/potential Friday work as needed.
