Delivery/Loading/Receiving Associate
Primary responsibilities include the delivery or pick up of Stone, Quartz, Solid Surface, and related products to job sites, customers, and suppliers; assist installers in bringing material into job sites; and help with receiving new materials delivered to our facility.
Responsible for the delivery or pick up of Stone, Quartz, Solid Surface, and related products to job sites, customers, and suppliers; assist installers in bringing material into job sites; help with receiving new materials delivered to our facility; assist the loading and maintenance teams when time allows. Must be able to assist in the lifting of oversized Stone and Solid Surface pieces.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Transport countertops, sinks, shower systems, and other related products to customer locations; Review all paperwork and inspect all pieces to ensure product accuracy; ensure all pieces and supplies are included with the delivery; Stock and maintain delivery vehicles with items required for a safe delivery including necessary packing blankets, tie down straps, and material handling carts; Upon completion of daily help-lifts and deliveries, re-fuel delivery vehicle and work with loading and maintenance teams as needed; Help receiving new materials delivered to our facility.
Dependable and reliable, and able to work flexible hours and overtime. Ability to travel to job sites, throughout this state and surrounding states (no overnight trips required). MUST have and maintain a valid and current unrestricted driver's license with reasonable driving history, (such as no major infractions in the past 5 years); Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card (CDL not needed). Experience driving commercial trucks (GVWR 8,000-26,000 lbs.). Ability to team lift stone countertops from floor to waist heights (well over 100+ lbs.) on a regular basis Maintain knowledge of job materials and supplies, including proper uses and applications. Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Overtime available as needed.
